Video resources to ramp up for summer break
Monthly roundup from Science Journal for Kids and Teens
Welcome to SJK’s June Newsletter.
We know that many schools are now wrapping up the school year. And some students may already have checked out, despite their teachers’ best efforts.
For such situations, we offer many videos that might provide easier access for distracted students.
They are organized in various playlists:
SJK Academy: Scientific Research Recap and Lessons are essentially video versions of our scientific articles (watchable in 5-8 min).
Lesson Ideas and Teaching Tutorials provide just that, custom made for educators.
Ask-a-Scientist Video Interviews and its companion Ask-a-Scientist Podcast feature direct conversations with researchers telling stories about their lives as working scientists and how they got into science in the first place.
Finally, we have SJK Audio Edition - all of our articles, read and video-recorded, especially suitable for auditory learners. Some of them can even be found in Spanish in our Artículos de Ciencia en Español playlist.
If you have any feedback, please reach out. We love to hear from readers.
Happy science exploration!
